Before Faith's intervention, the magnitude of our tasks seemed insurmountable given our limited resources. We felt stuck, unable to see a way forward. However, Faith provided us with a clear and exciting path forward that shifted our thinking completely. Her expertise and insightful perspective turned our despair into hope and our stagnation into action.

I cannot overstate the value of Faith's contribution to our organization. She helped us see beyond our limitations, turning our challenges into opportunities. "Faith manages the vast majority of internal communications within TWLF, a plaintiff’s personal injury law firm. These communications range from advice on client communications, personnel management, distributing information regarding changes occurring within the firm, and handling crises that have arisen over the years.

Faith’s ability to communicate issues within the firm begins with her presence. In the face of change or crisis, her presence is calm, resolute, thoughtful, and open. Throughout the four years I have spent working alongside her, she has demonstrated consistent honesty and careful consideration in each of her communications. Although she is not an owner of the firm, her presence is that of ownership and her method of communication encourages the same sense of personal accountability in the members of our staff.

As a day-to-day example of her internal communications, Faith often offers advice and examples of how staff should connect with our clients. I can recall several instances of Faith volunteering firm-wide lessons on client communications. In those messages, she communicated her own personal reflections on the frustrations we often experience, followed by empathetic and grounding advice that shed light on the causes of various communication impasses. The result of her messaging has been the promotion of introspection and the ability to reframe issues for the benefit of our clients. In times when I, as the attorney, have been unable to adequately convey a position, Faith has been both my source of advice and the example that I would observe to improve my own communication. Importantly, she offers this example to each member of our staff, regardless of position or title.

Faith was also instrumental in managing an internal crisis within the firm. Faith was the first to become aware of the issue (an initial testament to the owner’s trust in her). From the outset of this panic-inducing situation, Faith was calm and composed in all respects. As the only other attorney in the firm at the time, I received the information prior to the other staff. I bore witness to Faith’s immediate work to obtain the information necessary to communicate, as well as her work to prepare the overall messaging for our staff and clients. Notably, it was only Faith who addressed our staff. Faith chose to present the firm with candid information about the issue and our (ever-evolving) plan of operation. Her existing rapport with our staff of 15 and her confident method of delivery resulted in each employee’s decision to remain at the firm, despite the uncertainty and the alarm surrounding the situation. Faith’s ability to deliver this news, discuss implications for our clients and staff, brainstorm immediate needs, and devise a plan of action was—without question—the reason that this firm was able to continue operating."

"I contacted Faith for consultation regarding a promotion opportunity with my current employer. I was seeking advice and expertise on how to effectively communicate my value and salary expectations in a professional yet direct manner.

Faith asked questions to help understand the complexity of the role and was able to use my own words and descriptions to help customize and skillfully communicate my current role and how that role is implemented directly into the new position. She not only helped me better communicate my worth but also assisted in informing the question of which I was seeking answers in a positive and constructive fashion.

Faith’s assistance was clear, concise, and incredibly effective in allowing me to successfully negotiate my new role."
